microsensys verfügt seit Mitte der 1990er Jahre über die patentierte mic3® Technologie. Diese Technologie realisiert die weltweit kleinsten RFID Transponder mit integrierter Spule auf dem Chip in einer Größe von ca. 1.5mm³.
Mit Speicherkapazitäten von 64 bit read only bis 64 Kbit read/write und einer Temperaturbeständigkeit von -45°C ... +200°C verfügen die mic3® Transponder über ausreichend Speicherkapazität und eine hohe Zuverlässigkeit. Diese Transponder können durch die konsequente Nutzung der Waferprozesse sehr effizient in großen Stückzahlen produziert werden.
Wegen ihrer sehr kleinen Bauform werden mic3® RFID Transponder zur unikaten Kennzeichnung bzw. zur Mitführung von Daten an Objekten verwendet, die nur sehr geringen Platz bieten oder extremen Umwelteinwirkungen standhalten müssen.
